The UN Sex Abuse Scandal

A film by Sam Collyns and Ramita Navai

Over the past 15 years, the United Nations has recorded more than 1,700 allegations of sexual abuse by its peacekeepers in conflict zones around the world. This film examines why the problem of sexual abuse persists despite UN efforts to tackle it, and why only 53 soldiers and one civilian UN staff member have ever been sent to prison for sexual misconduct.
